It’s the battle of the birds on your World of Champions as France are also known as the Cockerels apart from being known as 'The Little Blues' while the Nigerian team is referred to as the Flying Eagles.
With Mali, Cameroon and Egypt all having bowed out of the tournament, Nigeria is Africa’s last hope of defending its world cup won on Egyptian soil by Ghana in 2009
The reigning African champions are up for a French test as they face highly-rated Arsenal youngster, Gilles Sunu and his talented teammates that include Alexandre Lacazette, Cedric Bakambu, Gueida Fofana, Yannis Tafer, Sebastien Faure and Antoine Griezmann.
John Obuh's men also boast of big performers for this match to be broadcast on SuperSport.
Ahmed 'Flying Machine' Musa will lead the line for a free-scoring high flying Eagles with the likes of Olarenwaju Kayode, Edafe Egbedi, Ramon Azeez, Uche Innocent Nwofor and Abduljeleel Ajagun.
Obuh, wants his players to put in an improved performance against the French than they did against the English on Wednesday.
“We showed lack of discipline against England and got away with it. There was nothing special about the English team but we did not stay on top of the game and I am not happy about that.
“For the game against France, we need to do better,” says Obuh.
